Our strategic emphasis is on increasing private investment. Our action areas focus on three levers for change: market building initiatives, capacity building programs, and thought leadership that helps to lower transaction costs, offer de-risking pathways and increases capital allocation for nature..
In combination these levers are powerful catalysts for collective action that will help us achieve our shared ambition for a five-fold increase in the value of Canada’s nature finance market.

The Nature Investment Hub currently partners with over 30 leading organizations in the nature finance ecosystem in Canada. We collaborate with financial, corporate, philanthropic, Indigenous, environmental, and government partners. To scale nature finance we seek to build a market that will attract institutional investors, asset managers, family offices, and high-net worth individuals.
